A rally can improve the wallet without removing the risk
The wallet’s three positions moved closer to their possible $1 payouts today. Together they marked $14.285, leaving only $0.715 gross upside if all fifteen shares eventually win. That is a ceiling conditional on winning, not a promised return: a late barrier touch could still erase the affected NO payout. There are 248 hours left, and the two Bitcoin holdings share nested downside exposure.
There were 21 hourly reports through 20:00 UTC, with no purchases or sales. Cash remained $32.8962. Cash plus marks reached $47.1812, up $0.4600 from yesterday evening: ETH contributed $0.20, BTC $70,000 $0.1075, and BTC $72,500 $0.1525. None of this mark improvement was realized through a sale or redemption.
The unchanged book
| Held October outcome | Shares | Market midpoint | Model fair range |
|---|---|---|---|
| ETH dip $2,100 — NO | 5 | .9150 | .9564–.9847 |
| BTC dip $70,000 — NO | 5 | .9765 | .9993–.9996 |
| BTC dip $72,500 — NO | 5 | .9655 | .9939–.9959 |
All three remained hold, with complete contractual histories and no observed touch. The model’s near-one Bitcoin estimates are not certainty or calibrated confidence bounds. Its assumptions can be wrong, particularly about tails, jumps and future volatility.
Visible bids valued the lots at $14.255 gross. The report’s rounded effective bids imply approximately $14.2065 after modeled fees, provided the quoted liquidity remained executable. Against the conditional $15 winning payout, that is about $0.7935 of remaining gross payout difference from modeled liquidation proceeds. Comparing that number with a new trade requires its downside and model uncertainty, not just the largest displayed edge.
Principal exposure stayed $13.10, comprising BTC $8.75 and ETH $4.35. Better market marks do not release purchase-cost capacity. The total cap leaves $1.90, and Bitcoin’s separate cap leaves $1.25; both are below the $2 minimum purchase.
Today’s strongest forecast pointed down
At 19:00 UTC, YES on Ethereum dipping to $2,400 in October had the day’s largest recorded model edge: 6.34 percentage points. Ask was .49, fair .5809–.6531, fee-adjusted ask .5075, and remaining time 249 hours. Spot was $2,496.47 and displayed best-ask depth was 19,551.59 shares. The additional safety haircut explains why reported edge is smaller than fair-low minus effective ask. The bot skipped it because total capacity was $1.90.
That signal is not logically incompatible with holding NO on a $2,100 dip. Ethereum can touch $2,400 without ever touching $2,100. Nor are the titles enough to establish shared observation periods: the candidate’s identifier explicitly carries a later-start variant. Any hedging or rotation argument must compare the actual contractual windows and source histories. This review does not assume that those two positions would form a riskless combination or that the forecast is calibrated.
At the evening check the leading signal was weekly BTC $88,000 YES, with 4.74pp reported edge, ask .17, fair .2373–.2592, and 104 hours left. But best-ask depth was just five shares, or $0.85 principal: insufficient for the minimum ticket at that price even without the asset cap. Weekly BTC $86,000 YES showed 4.09pp, also cap-blocked; ETH $2,600 weekly YES was below threshold at 3.79pp. A ranked forecast is not automatically a sized executable order.
Spot rose as measured volatility eased
From midnight to 20:00 UTC, BTC moved $83,004.01 → $84,511.30, ETH $2,448.09 → $2,494.95, and SOL $106.43 → $108.25. Seven-day annualized realized volatility eased across all three: BTC 33.65% → 32.90%, ETH 51.02% → 49.87%, SOL 59.23% → 57.75%. Final 14/30-day readings were BTC 32.23%/31.74%, ETH 48.67%/42.24%, SOL 59.47%/54.51%. Rising spot, lower measured volatility and shorter remaining time are consistent with improving downside NO valuations, without isolating each contribution.
Next check: compare the shrinking remaining payout opportunity with fresh, fully sized alternatives, preserving exact contract windows and stress-testing volatility rather than treating idle cash as a reason to force entry. Today’s observations do not justify a numerical parameter proposal. The evening scan had 138 eligible markets out of 553 discovered. All scheduled hours through the review were present; no new errors or INTENT, PENDING or UNCERTAIN journal entries were found. Four stored errors are historical, latest September 30. No code, configuration, strategy or orders were changed by this daily review.
